start: Dec 14, 2014 06:00AM

Venue: Chennai, Chrompet., , Chennai
Come join us for a fun activity this time. We will create a street-art in the wall adjacent to the Chrompet bus stop.
Street-art is a colorful artwork created by artists and volunteers. [info here: https://streetart.withgoogle.com/en/#home%5D
We have requested ‘the paint box’ artists to show up to help us with the outlines and will depend on our volunteers to paint and create the artwork.
This will be an interesting activity and will also make the place a landmark soon (we hope).
We will need volunteers to bring bright colored emulsion paints (1/4 or 1/2 or 1 litre cans) and brushes of all sizes possible and small containers to mix the paint with water and use it for painting.
Please comment and confirm if you will be able to join and/or what you can bring in that day. If you are unsure, please don’t accept the invite as we need accurate head count to plan this out.
Since its a day-time activity, we encourage women and kids (10+) to join in the fun. This will be our trial run to understand how ‘beautification’ can be done for our public places.
Note: The picture above is the currrent situation of the wall and the right side is a potential outcome. The design pattern will evolve based on the artists and our imagination and patience and weather conditions that day 🙂
